VEL Subsea
pH probe
Our VEL Subsea pH probe (also called a cement sniffer) is developed specifically to detect the degree and presence of cement in sea water because cement increases the pH value of sea water. The probe is a highly valuable tool during well completion subsea.

The pH probe is tailored and designed to be operated using a Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) down to 2000 MBSL.
